Frequently Asked Questions: Special Access
From WikiProperty
Why grant Special Access?
This can be used in many ways to allow other parties to run reports on properties. You may be the property manager and grant special access to the owners. You may be the owner and grant special access to your accountant so they can do your accounts. An owner may grant access to a mortgage broker to obtain better terms. Note that If access is given to a holding, all properties within the holding are also available.
How do you control Special Access?
Access can be given and/or taken away from any user at any time. Even if the third party still have the property code and the encryption code, access can be controlled. The start and/or end date can be used to limit a time period. You can set only one or both dates. Deleting the 'Special Access' record for that user will remove all access. The third party can not enter or alter data. Any number of third parties can have special access.
