Selling Checklist

Here is a guideline of things to look for when selling an investment. If you feel it can be improved in any way please email us.

This is not an exhaustive list but it should help you. It is in your interest to always confirm everything with your professional advisers. This checklist is of a general nature and there is no guarantee that this list is correct for you.

Don't Auction. You loose control
Get a professional Valuation so you know what to expect.
Have a clause to inform buyers you may not come back to them. This will encourage them to offer their best price.
If agent quotes a price, put in a clause that you will not need to pay commission if final price less than quote.
Never pay for advertising.
Allow a maximum of six weeks for any agent agreement.
if residential - No 'open homes'
